The folder "source files" contains the files I developed and used for my Namibia landclass replacement file, broken into the FS-native LOD5 .raw tiles (with associated .ezl files for use in Russel Dirks' EZ-Landclass). You need to know the basics of landclass design to find these files useful but anyone is welcome to edit or add on to them.
The edited africa_v3_2000_legend.xls spreadsheet contains my assignment of the original GLC2000 classes into the most suitable FS landclass values. LC_Namibia_Idrisi.gif shows the distribution of the original GLC2000 classes, colored with the RGB values listed in africa_v3_2000_legend.xls.
Once you have edited one or more of the .raw tiles you can use the lc_namib_rc_lc.inf file with the FS tools resample.exe, tmfcompress.exe and tmf2bgl.exe to re-compile all tiles and merge them into a new version of lc_namib_rc_lc.bgl.
